In May 2008, while in prayer, the Lord began to direct Pastor Lorenzo Lloyd to designate a place of worship for hurting people. At the time there was no name just an overwhelming leading of the Holy Spirit to go forth in ministry. While sitting in a Sunday service the Holy Spirit spoke the name Redeemed and the Scripture Galatians 3:13, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law being mad a curse".... From that point forward the ministry began with Pastor Lloyd, his wife and their daughter in their living room. The ministry has grown under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and moved from their living room to our current location in Jackson, MS. We believe that there is one Lord, one Faith and one Baptism. The ministry is lead under the operation of the Holy Spirit. We teach and preach the message of the cross. Romans 6:14 says, "...for you are no longer under law but under grace...".
